As my husband & I were enjoying Saturday morning rituals of having our coffee while the kids built Legos. We heard one of them singing. We smiled at one another, as it was such a sweet pure moment. I started thinking about the wonder of music and how it flows through every class, race, age, and gender. It helps us or is with us when we celebrate life from musical chairs, wedding waltzes, rock & roll concerts, funerals, our first school dance and Anniversary celebrations…that’s why I’m so very happy to be a part of “Friends of Music” through Ruth Eckerd Hall — as it provides the funding to bring performing arts into the lives of children who would otherwise not have the opportunity. Here a few pictures of the unforgettable private Party and Benefit Concert by Lifehouse.
