Your educational journey is full of transitions, exploration and growth. All your experiences (good and bad) prepare you for your post-graduation life.
Passions. What sets your heart on fire? When someone brings this topic up, you instantly light up. This will change throughout the years but whatever it is at that time, hold it close to your heart. Explore it. These are the things that make you unique. They could potentially lead into a career or hobby down the line.
Appreciation. From age 5 to 25, practicing good etiquette by recognizing those around you will never change. A simple note, email, or phone call to those who have made an impact on your week takes only a few moments. Always celebrate and love on the people who are positive influences in your life. These could be directed towards teachers, parents, or role models.
Personal Connections. Get to know your teacher or professor. In the long run, this will help you talk and develop relationships with connections outside of your age group. Building a relationship with your teachers will also help you perform better in class.
Balanced Schedule. As you progress through your educational career, your courses will continue to get increasingly rigorous. It is easy to let your schedule get eaten up with homework and classes. The balance between school and your involvement is so important. Working with clubs or organizations gives you a mind rest between assignments and you’ll end up performing better.
