Grow Your Company’s Social Influence
In the online age, your organization’s online presence has become more important than ever. Consumers now flea to the web for reviews, photos, and information before even stepping foot in your store or dialing your number.
It is overwhelming for companies to tackle an online presence and fulfill the roles that keep the company running. Follow the tips below to kick start your social influence.
Narrow Focus. Choose one platform to master. In a month or so you can add an additional platform but, don’t jump all in on every platform. Not every business needs to be everywhere. In fact, understanding which platforms are the most important for you is how you will grow your social influence the fastest.
- Articles, updates, and photos are exceptionally beneficial for professional companies on LinkedIn. Instagram on the other hand, is great for lifestyle brands with aesthetic pictures.
Consistency. Posting consistently doesn’t have to mean every day. If you have the resources to post every day, by all means do so. If you are just starting out, make it your goal to post once a week and gradually grow the habit.
Influencers. Influencers are individuals in your community with large social media presences, usually 10,000+ followers. Reach out to popular accounts related to your industry and offer free product or promotional items. A $15 t-shirt sent to a large account will help you gain loyal followers and build trust in the community.
Follow Through. Monitor the messages and comments. The hands-on interaction with your ideal clients is the reason why you’ve worked to grow your social influence to begin with. Build relationships with those followers.
