MODERN FAMILY
I learned from watching and then later meeting the cast of Modern Family in person.
Business is like a family. You add or subtract from your family. The actors all had something amazing to contribute and each person had their own little special place of making deposits and fitting in to create an entire full circle, a whole pie. That’s why they and the show has done so well. We see parts of ourselves in the characters and how they blend as one. My number one take away was how they laugh to get through the sticky parts. They shared a part about Sofia Vergara’s language barrier in rehearsals and how she was supposed to say a scary he he he for a Halloween segment and how she could only make the ho ho ho sound..which is a Christmas sound.
They all laughed and stayed with the Halloween for Christmas sound and it made for a great moment in their Halloween show. It’s important that we be who we are to add and bring success to our Families and Business.
