If you were to expand it to a 9th secret, I’d suggest setting a boundary for work and home life. As someone who has worked in a home office environment for over 15 years, I can say that it’s very easy for work to encroach in to home life unless you become very disciplined about preventing it.

I like how you said to think about why we went into business for ourselves. Lately, I have found myself rushing. Rushing to finish e-mail or rushing to finish a project so that I can move on to the next thing in my “to do list.” With so many things to do as a business owner, it’s easy to get caught up in thinking we can do more in a day.
